Have you ever heard about Acupuncture? Some say it works amazing while others say it doesn't.

Personally, I hardly believe in Chinese Acupunture as it doesn't make any medical sense.  Acupuncture theory is based on the Meridian Sytem, which is a map of energy flow. It states that our body has points that represent critical energy flow. Unfortunately, as an Anatomy Professor in Chiropractic College, I was unable to find those points in any human body or cadavers. Acupuncture was more likely a religion that one must believe, although you don't see it with your own eye but it is because the bible said so.

When I first heard about Dry Needling, Chinese Acupuncture finally made sense to me, in that why sometimes it works amazingly. Some acupuncture points coincide with peripheral nerve points in human anatomy, even though chinese never intended to work with it. As an anatomy professor I understand where the peripheral nerve piercing into the skin. Some trigger points where manual therapists always work for are the great points where the needle can be inserted to make great improvement in pain.

I am certified in Dry Needling course with Dr. Ma. I personally think that chiropractors are the best practitioner for the dry needling technique since we detect all body problem mainly relying on our hands by touch, palpation.  We find the problem and needle it.

Dry needling is one of the state of the art modalities in physical therapy. Acupuncture needle is so fine that most of time you will not feel the needle when it gets into your skin.

Dry needling is just one of the great tools I have.
